Province-level Gurukul School Established in Panauti

A Province-level Gurukul School has been established in Panauti. Locals who are interested in Gurukul education have institutionalized Gurukul School of Bagmati state level in Panauti.

14 students studying at Trivenighat Sattal in Panauti have been institutionalized in Gurukul and a provincial-level school has been established.

In the recently established Gurukul School, there are 14 students in class 6 and it is planned to add more classes along with the number of students from the next academic session. Students studying in the Gurukul at Panauti will be provided with the knowledge and skills of modern education, not only rituals and religion. Likewise, education has been identified accordingly to organize education so that the manpower produced by the Gurukul can compete in the global market.

Recently, as the interest in Gurukul education has started to increase, a provincial-level Gurukul has been established in Panauti at the initiative of the local people.

According to the local Bhagwat Dharma Protection Committee, it is planned to teach Gurukul schools according to the same education up to Uttarmadhyama (Proficiency Certificate Level), Shastri (Graduate Level), Acharya (Post Graduate Level) and Ph.D.

Gurukul has been established with the aim of recognizing Panauti city as a historical and religious tourist place, by reviving the ancient Vedic religion and Hindu culture.

Having established Gurukul with the help of local people, they are requesting the relevant agencies to support the school.

According to the committee, the support and assistance of the local and province-level people’s representatives will be taken for the operation of Gurukul schools.
